This project focused on implementing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to help a business understand how visitors interact with its website and which actions contribute to its marketing goals. The objective was to establish a more reliable measurement system for evaluating website traffic, user engagement, and important conversions.
The implementation process involved configuring the GA4 property, connecting the website through an appropriate tagging method, and reviewing the required data collection settings. Depending on the website’s functionality, relevant events could include form submissions, phone or email link clicks, button interactions, and other meaningful user actions.
Google Tag Manager could be used where appropriate to organize tracking tags and simplify future updates. Event configuration and testing were important to reduce duplicate events and identify implementation issues before relying on the collected data.
Where required and supported, Google Ads linking and conversion imports could also be configured to support advertising measurement.
The resulting setup provides a clearer view of website activity and helps businesses evaluate their marketing channels more effectively. Regular validation is essential because analytics accuracy depends on correct implementation, consent settings, and the quality of the underlying data.
